Splash About UK Baby swim wrap with neoprene nappy

We are lucky enough to have been chosen by splash about UK to be one of their 2018 splash about Gurus. Anyone that knows me knows how much of a baby and toddler swimming advocate I am. It has been my favourite activity to do with both my babies since a few weeks old. It teaches them a life skill and something that could potentially save their lives. I am happiest when I am in or around water so it was a no brainer that my kids would be water babies too.
As a splash about Guru we have been able to test out some great products. You can find all my reviews linked below.

1. Splash About Fing Review

Baby Wrap vest and happy neoprene nappy with UPF 50+ protection from the sun and open flat design for easy dressing and undressing.

I was just a bit excited to test this product out. Eli had been wearing one of the Splash About wet suits which I loved but it was starting to get a bit snug and now he was wriggling around more the baby wrap with its open flat design sounded like the perfect swim suit for him.
My first impressions were that the wrap looked well made and the fabric felt very soft. We tested it out for the first time at our local pool. Getting Eli dressed was so much easier using the wrap and with the Velcro fastenings meant the wrap fitted really well. He looked comfy and cool in his new wrap and happy nappy. We went swimming for 45 minutes and he seemed happy and warm throughout. Getting him changed after swimming was also really easy with the Velcro making the wrap really easy to take off.

Pros

• Open flat design making dressing and undressing really easy
• Lovely soft fabric
• A range of great designs and colours
• Kept him warm while swimming

Cons

• The fabric is quite delicate and if your not careful can pull if the Velcro catches it

Overall I loved the baby wrap teamed up with the happy neoprene nappy and would definitely recommend it as a must have swimming product for young and wriggly babies.
